Also, the hype behind this contest was insane. As a result, many boxing stars, including Jermell Charlo and Jermall Charlo, turned up to watch the event live.

The Charlo brothers even had a fight at the event. They abruptly engaged in a scuffle with Jarrett Hurd.

Hurd primarily got into an altercation with Jermell Charlo, but Jermall Charlo came in to defend his brother. Consequently, Hurd even pushed ‘Hit Man’ to eventually get his hands on Jermell Charlo. He didn’t succeed as security intervened.

Later, a video of this altercation broke out and it did rounds on social media. Many hardcore boxing fans gave their notions on the same. They even expressed their wish to see Hurd and Jermell Charlo fight.

Back in 2018, Hurd and Charlo were on the brink of facing each other, but fate had some other plans for the pair. Charlo suffered his very first pro-boxing defeat in that year and lost his WBC super-welterweight title to Tony Harrison.

As Hurd also lost his bout to Julian Williams in 2019, it poured cold water on his matchup with Charlo.
