Former two times World Heavyweight Champion Mike Tyson will go down as one of the greatest pugilists of all time. ‘Iron’ recently revealed he is looking to make a return for a few exhibition bouts. These bouts will raise money to help the homeless and the drug-affected. The former champion’s speed and intensity would surely strike fear into the minds of opponents. It could even lead to claims that he can face some present-day boxers.

Mike Tyson posts a training video

In the video, we see Tyson absolutely pummel an individual who would be very glad of the padding he has on his torso and fists.

‘Iron’ shared his fitness routines earlier in the week while talking to Atlanta rapper T.I. on Instagram Live.

“I’ve been hitting the mitt for the last week. That’s been tough, my body’s really jacked up. It’s been sore from hitting the mitt. “I do around 2 hours and the bike and I do the treadmill for an hour. Then a lightweight of 300 or 250 reps. I hit the mitts for 25 to 30 minutes.”

It’s safe to say that the fitness regime has paid off.

‘Iron’s speed is a sight to behold. He has not lost that mentality of wanting to go for the knockout as early as possible. He won 22 professional bouts in the first round in a nearly two-decade career.

In the post, Tyson seemed to be promoting his ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ moniker along with the release of the Blu-ray release of Will Smith’s film ‘Bad Boys for Life.’ Here, he claims to be “The Bad Boy for Life.” Considering his actions such as biting off the ear of Evander Holyfield to threatening to eat children can most certainly justify the moniker.

This will not be the first time ‘Iron’ has featured in exhibition bouts. In 2006, he boxed against Corey ‘T-Rex’ Sanders. According to observers, he appeared to be holding back on that occasion. Given his standing in the video one almost feels he will have to do it once more unless fans pay a premium to witness a lightning-quick knockout yet again.

Who do you see Mike Tyson facing? Also when will these bouts get a green signal? It surely won’t be anytime soon considering the world is going through a pandemic.
