The Mayweather vs. Paul exhibition has been off and on for a while. They were initially set to meet on February 20. However, rumors suggest that the fight is now happening as Logan Paul has announced that he is starting fight camp.

Mayweather has now added to these rumors with a surprising video of his own. The former multi-weight champion posted his recent training footage to his Instagram and gave fans an insight into his unique method. The video showed money raining down for every punch ‘TBE’ threw at the heavy-bag.

Although Mayweather started off slowly, he picked up the pace and showed he still has the power and speed. This should be a frightening prospect for ‘The Maverick’. Moreover, the increase in speed and power brought an increase in the money raining down on him. He then reminded Paul that it would be light work for him come fight night.

Why is Floyd Mayweather saying it would be light work?

Mayweather is arguably one of the sport’s greatest boxers. ‘TBE’ retired with a perfect record of 50-0 and never looked like losing in the boxing ring. His intelligent movement and incredible defense ensured that he barely got hit. Therefore, it is no surprise he is taking this bout against a non-boxer quite lightly.

In addition, this is not the first exhibition bout that Mayweather is not training for with a full-fledged camp. In 2018, he took on Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa with little training, and still dispatched him in the first round.

The former multi-weight world champion has admitted that he is not in the best shape of his life for the exhibition bout. However, he is adamant that he doesn’t need to be. Furthermore, if his performances are anything to go by, Mayweather should breeze past Logan Paul.

Therefore, despite his training antics like in the video, ‘Money Mayweather’ can beat Logan Paul with minimal preparation. Therefore, he is confident of making light work of the internet sensation.

What do you make of Floyd Mayweather’s video? Do you think he needs to train harder to beat Logan Paul?
