Apparently, he took the stance of another skilled boxer, Floyd Mayweather. It grasped a lot of attention, as Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao were the biggest rivals of their generation.

However, the pair of legends had battled for greatness a couple of years back in 2015. Though Mayweather had clinched the victory, it was the toughest fight for the undefeated stalwart. Notably, they took their retirement from the sport in later years.

However, that was the story of legacy, but Pacquiao Jr. has just started his career.

This enigma of his boxing style continued throughout his career. Mayweather never met a fighter who could have penetrated this defensive front.

How did Emmanuel Pacquiao Jr. perform?

The performance of Emmanuel in the debut amateur bout has pushed his record to 1-0. The boxing great’s son had succeeded in the first battle on a way following his father’s footprint.

The bout took place in the gym named ‘House of Boxing’ in San Diego, California. His opponent was Andres Rosales.

The 21-year-old showcased a suitable set of skills. Though the fight ended with a decision victory, the combination punches of Emmanuel remained effective throughout the rounds.

Like his father, Pacquiao Jr. relied on the stiff jab that kept his opponent away.
