Canelo Alvarez had a cracking boxing run in 2021 and is expected to have an even better fight year in 2022. A few days back, Canelo’s fight with the WBA light heavyweight champion, Dmitry Bivol got announced and since then he has been trending all over the internet.

Also, the p4p best fighter recently took part in a press conference wherein he was on the stage with promoter Eddie Hearn.

Before everything kicked off, Hearn and Canelo were seen in a light banter on stage. Later, Alvarez came in his boxing stance, trying to punch the Matchroom boss wittily. On the other hand, Hearn seemed prepared to face Canelo’s wrath, but he also remained evidently scared towards Alvarez showing off his prowess.

The two men collected each other quickly as the photographers asked them to pose for a photo. That said, it was all smiles on the stage and the vibe was exuberant.

Canelo inked a two-fight deal with Hearn‘s Matchroom and DAZN. Accordingly, he’ll first go up against Dmitry Bivol for his WBA title on May 7. Later, he’s expected to square off with Gennady Golovkin in a classic trilogy that will eventually settle the duo’s rivalry.
