Joshua, a seasoned veteran, has tested himself against umpteen stylistic fighters. However, he hasn’t faced a southpaw as skilled as Usyk. This has worried ‘AJ’s fans.

Recently, a video emerged on the internet, wherein the Brit got rocked with a left hand from a southpaw opponent.

This video is from Joshua‘s amateur boxing days. An inexperienced Joshua ate a huge left hook from his opponent that left him staggered.

In his professional boxing stint and since he’s started taking on the biggies of his division, Joshua has only faced one southpaw in Charles Martin. This fight took place in 2016, and Martin was regarded as a rugged opponent for ‘AJ’. However, it took only two rounds for the Brit to end Charles Martin.

As there is a world of a difference in Oleksandr Usyk and Charles Martin’s skills, Joshua’s bout against Usyk will genuinely test his skills. It will be interesting to see how Joshua tackles the same.

Anthony Joshua, with his colossal frame and power, already has an edge over Usyk. However, the latter is quick and his defensive game is up to the mark.
