From here on out, both fighters would take on fights against other opponents before the sequel was announced. The second fight was far more decisive, and it saw Tyson Fury stop Wilder in the seventh round. Moreover, his superior technique was on display as it won the day over the Bomber’s raw power.

Deontay Wilder campaigned for a trilogy bout, and the two are finally expected to butt heads for the final time. Given the current landscape of COVID-19, several critical fights have been set back for a later date. Additionally, top fighters like interim champion Dillian Whyte have been clamoring for a shot at either marquee star.
