WATCH: Tyson Fury Launches a Movie to Preach the Effects of Addiction on Mental Health Day

WBC Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has battled several adversaries inside and outside the square circle. From going against the most looming heavyweights inside the boxing ring to overcoming mental trauma and addiction, ‘The Gypsy King’ has had his fair share of bad days.

That said, he always preaches the importance of mental peace. He has also released a book on his life, prompting how he dealt with addiction and depression during his lay-off from boxing. Though he came back to the sport to become the world champion, Tyson Fury still stages the same message on public appearances.

He has recently collaborated with a poet to aware people of the importance of mental peace on mental health day. Hence, fight fans are excited to see their WBC champion in a different role.

Tyson Fury has a movie to look at

‘The Gypsy King’ has turned to social media and posted a video about his upcoming project. He will join hands with the poet Hussain Manawer to project the film, titled “You are Not My Best friend”. As per Fury, the movie will talk about addiction and how to battle it. No wonder it has a noble cause behind it, as the heavyweight great wrote, “Let’s work together to help change the conversation on mental health.”

Apart from being a heavyweight elite, Fury is also a global superstar. Thus, he always uses the platform to preach greatness. Talking about his real-life incidents, he has inspired millions to emerge out victorious from their downfall.

Meanwhile, Fury will also return to the ring soon. He is expected to defend his WBC strap against Deontay Wilder in an epic trilogy fight in December. However, nothing has been confirmed officially.

So, Fury is also looking for a replacement in Anthony Joshua, if Wilder cannot appear this year. Yet, Fury is still out of an official opponent, desiring a comeback by the title this year ends. Only time will tell whether Fury will bag a fight. Yet, the WBC champion is still putting a lot of action on display outside the ring.
