WATCH: Tyson Fury Praises Cousin Joshua Frankham for a Successful Pro Debut

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury saw everything he wanted to see in his cousin Joshua Frankham as the latter registered a successful debut in professional boxing tonight.

Frankham took on a veteran boxer in Kevin McCauley in his debut. Although McCauley has faced 208 losses in his career, his activeness throughout the years is worth hailing.

Nevertheless, Joshua Frankham successfully went the distance with him and won via decision and he has definitely impressed his cousin ‘The Gypsy King’.

Tyson Fury welcomes his cousin into the boxing world

The WBC champ turned to Twitter and congratulated his cousin. He said that Frankham was calm, composed, and focused throughout the contest, and it was exactly what he desired.

“Big shout out to my boy, Josh Frankham. Welcome, Josh! Absolutely amazing performance. What a debut! Relaxed, calm, cool, collected, and confident, everything  I wanted to see. Fair Play to you. Well done,” said Fury.

Well, it was not an easy night for Fury’s cousin. McCauley put up a good fight and tested all his skills. However, Joshua Frankham was always ready with a response. He even shook Kevin McCauley with a thunderous hook.

Kevin McCauley ate it like a pie and kept pressurizing his opponent. As the contest advanced, Frankham dictated the pace and outstruck his rival several times. After the last bell rang, Fury’s cousin won the four-round battle comfortably via the judge’s decision.

Having Tyson Fury’s bloodline, Joshua Frankham garnered a lot of attention in his debut. It could have also put some additional pressure on the Brit. However, he didn’t let that affect his game plan. Considering his run as an amateur, Frankham impressed his fans in a sensational maiden professional fight.
