WBC President Breaks the Internet With Massive Jake Paul News

YouTube sensation Jake Paul has impacted the sport of boxing in ways only a few other boxers have. While his boxing skills might not be on par with the best, he certainly has managed to draw the attention of the audience. However, he also is motivated to prove his in-ring skills, which will be tested against Hasim Rahman Jr. on August 6th.

Moreover, the stakes are now even higher for ‘The Problem Child’ as WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman broke the internet by offering Paul a WBC ranking if he beats the 12-1 heavyweight boxer.

Sulaiman offers Jake Paul an official ranking

The WBC president took to Twitter to officially announce that Paul will become a part of the official WBC rankings if he wins his upcoming fight.

This came as a surprise to many fans who weren’t expecting the Ohio-base boxer to enter the rankings so early in his career. Moreover, they were not shy to share their opinion as they reacted to this news.

Fans react to Sulaiman’s announcement

One fan mocked the decision and suggested that the WBC could make a special belt for Paul in the future.

Another fan also made fun of the decision, calling it a “franchise belt” sarcastically.

Moreover, another fan could not believe that Sulaiman would make such a decision and stated that he took him out with this.

Notably, one fan hilariously asked where Paul would be ranked after only such a short time in the sport.

Another fan was shocked by this announcement and could not believe that Paul would get a spot in the rankings.

However, not all fans were against the decision, as one fan came to Paul’s support and wished him good luck.

It looks like Paul got a mixed reaction from the fans, but the majority still feel that this offer is unwarranted so early on in his career.
