WBC President Shares a Heartfelt Picture of Muhammad Ali Performing Magic

In the old boxing era, Muhammad Ali ruled the sport single-handedly with his blistering boxing performances. The sport of boxing truly needed a star like him who could inspire a generation of fighters to take up combat sports. On top of this, Ali was always a fan favorite, loved by boxing biggies around the globe.

Recently, the WBC President, Mauricio Sulaiman, shared an old picture on his Instagram handle of Muhammad Ali. Just like many others, Sulaiman too was an Ali fan since his childhood. That said, his father, Jose Sulaiman, once took him to the boxing legend’s house too.

Sharing a picture of that heartfelt moment, Sulaiman wrote, “This is how impressive @MuhammadAli magic was! I was 13 visiting his house with my father Jose Sulaiman, Mr Cota and @lamazon_oficial”

Be it the boxing ring or outside, Muhammad Ali was a star magician who had the best of abilities to lure everyone. Ali began his boxing run in 1960. At this time, televisions weren’t mainstream. Also, ‘Sweet Science’ was slowly picking up as one of the most loved sports in the world.

However, Ali, in no time, garnered some massive reactions around himself. The super-aggressive and tactical fighter managed to become a hotshot in no time, and since then, he never looked back.

As famous as he was for his boxing skills, Muhammad Ali was equally known for his trash-talking abilities. That said, he was a complete fighter, and that’s why Ali had so much buzz around himself.

Heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali stands over Sonny Liston and taunts him to get up during their title fight. Ali knocked Liston out in one minute in the first round during their bout at the Central Maine Youth Center in Lewiston, Maine.

Also, boxing needed someone like him to grab the attention of sports fans in this space. Consequently, if not the first, Ali was definitely one of the best boxing icons of all time.
