“We’ll Make Him Quit”: Daniel Dubois Fires Back at Jarrell Miller for Bringing In Oleksandr Usyk Loss

Jarrell Miller never really liked any of his peers in the heavyweight division, and Daniel Dubois is no exception. Speaking about the Brit, ‘Big Baby’ Miller brought up his loss against Oleksandr Usyk. Miller suggested even though the former WBA heavyweight champion started the fight well, he soon gave up when things did not go his way. So, ‘Dynamite’ Dubois fired back at Miller ahead of their fight on 23 December in Saudi Arabia.
Back on 26 August, Dubois took on the mighty Ukrainian, exchanging blow for blow! However, things took a turn for the worse when the Brit’s knockdown shot on Usyk was declared a low blow. Soon, Usyk took charge of the fight, forcing Dubois to take a knee in the ninth round, akin to what happened to Dubois in the Joe Joyce fight. However, the Greenwich resident didn’t like the fact that Miller brought it up, so he turned it around on Miller.

In response, the 26-year-old suggested he would make Miller give up in their fight on the weekend. He went on to assert that he will do his job and tarnish Miller’s blemishless record of 26-0.

“No, we’ll make him quit. That’s what we’re going to do. We’re going to make him quit. Turn it around on him, you know. Show them, you know. Do our job properly and take his ‘o’ away,” Dubois told Boxing Social. Despite claims from both sides about knocking the other one out, a former British boxer has a clear picture of who is going to win.
Carl Froch backs the young, fresh, hungry
With mere days left in the inevitable clash, the Hall of Fame boxer had his predictions ready for the fight. Even though some might claim he is biased, the retired Carl Froch picked his fellow Englishman Dubois to come out victorious from the clash. “I like to think Dubois. 26-year-old, young, fresh, hungry,” Forch told TNT Sports.

Justifying his choice, Froch suggested Dubois has fought better opponents, he has the experience needed to defeat Miller, and Dubois has faced adversity against Joe Joyce and Usyk. On the other hand, speaking about Miller, Froch claimed Miller hasn’t fought difficult opponents and highlighted his weight. “Miller’s fought no one. He looks big and slow, and I think Dubois will just manage him and get the win, hopefully,” said Froch.
