Following a sensational 9 round KO win over Kubrat Pulev, Anthony Joshua is now eyeing up Tyson Fury for 2021.

The unified heavyweight champion went straight after ‘The Gypsy King’ in the post-fight interview. That said, his promoter Eddie Hearn also is in favor of the event. He called the fight that would pit two elite world champions against each other as the biggest fight in British heavyweight boxing.

Meanwhile, Fury has vowed to accept the matchup in 2021, and we can expect another blockbuster soon. However, boxing holds a lot of politics that can prevent this bout from seeing the light of day.

If both the world champions follow through on their words, the fight will be sealed and will determine the best heavyweight puncher of this era.

In the post-fight segment, Matchroom CEO Eddie Hearn shed light on the possible matchup.

Eddie Hearn and the world wants Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury

Eddie Hearn proudly claimed that AJ has always desired to be the unified champion. While Anthony Joshua has held most of the belts, the WBC belt is still missing from the mix. A win against Tyson Fury will only get him the missing link in his quest to become the unified champion.

Hearn said, “First of all, I just want to welcome everyone back. It’s amazing to see so many faces here tonight. Genuinely, we’ve missed you… I think I’ve talked a lot over the years there’s been a lot of talk but it’s time for action. Since he came into the office, he wants to be the undisputed champion., less talk from us more action.”

He added, “We’re going to be friendly. We’re going to be nice. We know what we have to do starting for tomorrow. We make the Tyson Fury fight straight away. It’s the only fight to be made in boxing it’s the biggest fight in boxing it is the biggest fight in British boxing history. I know he wants it. He is the best heavyweight in the world.”
