The infamous plane incident of Mike Tyson remained in the headlines for weeks. But there is one interesting fact about the plane incident that paved the way for another question. Notably, ‘The Baddest Man on The Planet’ always prefers JetBlue airlines for traveling. This made the renowned American comedian Bill Maher curious about the fact. He asked Tyson, “Why are you flying on JetBlue?”

Recently, the former two-time World Heavyweight Champion, Mike Tyson, sat with television host and commentator Bill Maher on his show ‘Club Random with Bill Maher’.

The exclusive interaction began with the question. Maher asked Tyson, “Mike, I have to ask you the question the whole world wants to know. Why are you flying on JetBlue?”. And, Tyson replied, “My wife says the same thing.”

It seemed like probably Maher was not expecting such an answer. Adding one more detail that JetBlue is Tyson’s favorite airline, he asked, “Why is it your favorite airline?”

Tyson said that he loves JetBlue. However, he didn’t care to explain further, as he did not know the reason behind it.

To bring more clarity, the host gave an example. He mentioned that Stevie Wonder used to love the holiday inn because everything was in the same place. Furthermore, he asked, “What are they doing on JetBlue?” 

Tyson answered, “Well, maybe I just love JetBlue. My wife is like she wants me. She wants me always in a private place. Why don’t you just like? She has to kill me. She can’t fathom it.”

What happened in the Plane that made Mike Tyson angry?

The ‘Iron Mike’ was traveling from San Francisco, and a passenger harassed him on a flight, as TMZ Sports reported it. According to a representative of Tyson, the young man was aggressive. He crossed all limits, first by verbally provoking Tyson and then throwing a water bottle at him.

The video shows the hard punches of the former world champion who also injured the passenger. Also, blood was spilling from the person and was quickly taken away for medical treatment. While this entire controversy happened, Tyson was in JetBlue airlines.
