Fans knew Tyson for his extravagant lifestyle and for his habit of splurging money. Along with bizarre purchases like a pet tiger, Tyson made the decision to buy gold teeth.

Mike Tyson got his gold teeth to mimic his idol, Jack Johnson. Johnson once reportedly bought himself a pet leopard and took it for walks as he sipped champagne. After knowing this, it seems like many of Tyson’s purchases and habits developed from his admiration for Jack Johnson.

Ever since fighting Roy Jones Jr. in 2020, Tyson has not fought anyone. Since his last fight, he has called out quite a few names in boxing, like Tyson ‘The Gypsy King’ Fury, Anthony ‘AJ’ Joshua, Evander Holyfield, and the list goes on.
