Israel Adesanya will make his return to boxing. Only this time it will be on the commentary panel as an analyst. The undefeated MMA star will be on the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr card as the analyst alongside other legendary sportscasters. Adesanya has been in the headlines for multiple reasons over the past few weeks; however, this came as a surprise to many. Thus, this is more exciting news for fans, following the latest announcement.
Justin Barrasso from SI MMA was the first to report the news. They even caught up with the middleweight champion and asked him about this news.The champion is stoked to be part of it.
He said, “I am so grateful that I am going to be there commentating, Mike’s been retired for so many years, so this is something I never thought I’d see again. But as soon as I saw a clip of him training, I thought, ‘What the f***? Mike Tyson is banging again.’”

Adesanya also spoke about the fight. He said, “We’re not going to see an exhibition, this will be a fight between two war dogs gunning for each other, I know fighting, I know boxing, and I’ve studied Tyson and Roy Jones.”
‘The Last Stylebender’ added, “I know their strengths. I used to watch their highlights before my kickboxing fights just to fire myself up because I was such a fan. I can’t wait to be on this call with ‘Sugar’ Ray Leonard and shoot the s*** about fighting and share some of my insights, as well.”
