He made it clear in the chat with FightHype where he spoke about Canelo Alvarez’s power, “We know, Canelo and whatever pork he been eating, the boy is strong! You know what I’m saying, the boy is strong, and we know Plant ain’t been with nobody that strong. I think it’s a great fight.”

Keith Thurman then spoke about how Floyd Mayweather exposed Canelo Alvarez. He claimed that Canelo learned how to move only after his fight against Mayweather. The Mexican has yet to lose a fight since Mayweather snapped his undefeated streak.

Keith Thurman last fought back in 2019, in his loss to Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao. However, he has been relatively low profile and hasn’t been in discussions for a fight.

Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant- November 6

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Caleb ‘Sweethands’ Plant have agreed to terms for a unification bout on November 6. The deal ended weeks of stop-and-start negotiations between Al Haymon and Canelo’s team. PBC and Canelo Promotions will present the PPV fight.

Come November 6, Canelo Alvarez, who holds three 168-pound titles, will take on Caleb Plant, who holds the only other belt in the division. Hence, the winner of the fight will become the undisputed super middleweight champion of the world.

Canelo Alvarez is a man on a mission. In his last fight against Billy Joe Saunders, he broke the Briton’s orbital bone and secured an eighth-round TKO to collect his third title. After the fight, Canelo told Plant on live TV, “I’m coming my friend.”
