Haney and Kambosos battled it out at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne. After his spectacular performance, all the judges scored in favor of Haney, making him the winner by decision.

Right after the bout, Devin Haney gave a hint about a possible rematch.

In the post-fight interview, Haney was asked about a possible rematch with Kambosos. In response, he said, “Of course, I’m not ducking or dashing nobody.”

However, he also added that he is open to ‘fight anybody’.

Meanwhile, lightweight contender Ryan Garcia also expressed his desire to fight Haney. In fact, while congratulating Haney for the win, he mentioned he would like to face Haney after his fight against Javier Fortuna.

Previously, Haney had also expressed his desire to fight Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis. But, he also mentioned that Davis has been ducking him as he has not faced anyone of ‘The Dream’s caliber.

Haney was in conversation with Stephen A Smith of ESPN Ringside. In conversation, he gave emphasis on the fact that he has previously sparred with Davis. Moreover, he stated Davis’ knowledge of his speed, power, and skill as reasons for avoiding a fight with him.

What’s next for George Kambosos Jr.?

George Kambosos Jr. also expressed his desire for a possible rematch with Haney.

Speaking in the post-fight interview, Kambosos said that the loss is certain to make him hungry for more. And he also added that he is sure that Haney would give him the opportunity as champion to reclaim the titles.

Moreover, Kambosos had mentioned that he is open to a fight with Vasily Lomachenko. Additionally, he is also open to a rematch with Teofimo Lopez.
