‘The Gypsy King’ announced his return from retirement following the much-anticipated rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk. The public anticipated a fight between Usyk and Fury after the latter defeated Joshua for the second time. The news that Fury is coming out of retirement to challenge the Ukrainian, for the title of undisputed champion thrilled the crowd.

However, the British fighter later disclosed that he will initially square off against Joshua in a British-only event. It was scheduled to happen on December 3rd at Cardiff, Wales’ Principality Stadium. However, this fight didn’t go as planned, thus Fury will now fight another boxer on the same day.

Apparently, the 34-year-old boxer will be seen squaring off inside the ring against Derek Chisora. Notably, the two have fought twice before, and Fury emerged as the winner both times. This will be a trilogy fight between the two British heavyweights.

Furthermore, Fury revealed in August, “I’ve decided to come back to boxing because I can be the first heavyweight world champion in history to have two trilogies. I’d always say I’d fight Derek Chisora at the end of my career.”
