Jake Paul is ready to take another step in his journey as a professional boxer. He is currently preparing to take on former UFC Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in a rematch. Paul initially looked to take on Tommy Fury in a grudge match.

However, a broken rib and a lung infection forced ‘TNT’ to pull out of the fight. With just a little over ten days’ notice, Woodley stepped in to replace Fury. Woodley says he never stopped training for the fight, knowing that he would get his chance.

It is the perfect opportunity for Woodley to get revenge on the YouTuber turned boxer. For Paul, on the other hand, it is the perfect opportunity to show everyone that what happened the first time was not by luck or a fluke.

Jake Paul Record and bio

Jake ‘The Problem Child’ Paul is unbeaten ever since turning pro last year. His record stands at 4 wins and 0 losses. He first started boxing back in 2018 when he took on fellow YouTuber Deji in the co-main event of the Logan Paul vs KSI fight.

Since then, he has gone on to fight former UFC fighters in the form of Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley, former NBA stars, and a fellow YouTuber. Although he hasn’t fought a ‘real’ boxer yet, it is safe to say, Paul does not take his boxing as a joke. The 24-year-old trains very hard for each of his fights.

Prediction for Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley 2

Taking into account the fact that Tyron Woodley has not gone through a full training camp, it is hard to see him win this one. Even in their previous fight, Woodley seemed trigger shy. He hurt Paul on multiple occasions, but could not make anything of it.

It’s been more than three years since Woodley has won a fight and even time is not on his side as he touches 39 years of age. Paul has youth, confidence, and better fitness going into this fight, and may add another win to his unbeaten record.

Anthony Taylor vs. Chris Avila; Super middleweight.
