Grant Cardone further revealed to Mike that as a 15-year-old, seeing no way to make ends meet, Grant started dealing drugs. This quickly turned into a toxic relationship. This often happens when lines start blurring between being a dealer and a user. Grant also emphasized he wished his mom hadn’t sheltered and protected him. Grant wished he could be allowed to confront the reality of his situation. He added that he would be a much better person than he is today.

The entrepreneur also sadly reveals that he felt very betrayed by his extended family’s lack of help. And on that day, he made a solemn vow: he would never want for money in the future and would support his mother and siblings.He [drug dealer] started showing me the drug thing, and next thing literally within 12 months I was using drugs every day went from being a good kid to I was using every drug available.”
