All Jaime Munguia does is fight. The Mexican boxer, best known for his May 2024 clash against fellow compatriot and boxing megastar Canelo Alvarez, slugs it out at every chance he gets. The former WBO junior middleweight champion often fights thrice or more in a year, and in 2017, actually entered the ring a head-spinning seven times. The Tijuana native, of course, was undefeated before he fought Alvarez, who beat him via a unanimous decision at their Las Vegas clash.

And in December of that year, he suffered his first loss to a man not named Canelo Alvarez as Frenchman Bruno Surace knocked him out in the sixth round, scoring an upset victory over the Mexican. As you can imagine, Munguia wants to avenge his loss and will rematch Surace on the undercard of the ‘Canelo’ vs. William Scull card on May 3. Jaime Munguia is one of those guys who seemingly likes to keep his personal life private. And who can blame him?
