Floyd Mayweather competed in the popular reality TV series Dancing With The Stars back in 2007. He partnered up with Karina Smirnoff a Soviet-born American professional ballroom dancer.

Smirnoff was a regular on the show and even went on to win season thirteen of the show. However, she was not as lucky when she was teamed up with Mayweather. The audience eliminated Mayweather and Smirnoff during the 4th week of the show.

The host Tom Bergeron then poked a little fun at Mayweather, saying, “Now you get to train full-time for Dec. 8,” Bergeron was referring to Mayweather’s December 8 showdown against Ricky Hatton.

Mayweather went on to knock the Brit out and stake his claim as one of the greatest boxers of all time. Hatton found it hard to land punches on Mayweather and hardly dealt any punishment.
