These are similar tenets to what Hennessy embodies, as we were built on family, and believe in community,” Allen stated.

Meanwhile, Under Armour signed the Mexican boxing icon as their brand ambassador when he was just twenty-one, adding him to the roster of elite athletes associated with the brand. “Our desire to partner with Canelo grew from seeing his unrelenting commitment to training,” a statement from Matt Mirchin, Under Armour’s Senior Vice President of Global Sports Marketing, read.

He is a special fighter and together we’ll have a huge impact on making young athletes in Latin America and beyond realize what it takes to perform your best, ” Mirchin added.

Alvarez’s association with Under Armour has remained strong over the years, sponsoring his trunks and boots ahead of many of his marquee boxing events.
