Even the boxing greats can goof up sometimes. And that’s exactly what happened in Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast episode of late when former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson mistook Tommy Fury for his former heavyweight champion brother Tyson Fury. However, the question is what led up to all this confusion?

Hold on to your hats because this story will blow it right off. You see, the thing is, Mike Tyson, who claims to be in the “dr*gs phase of his life”, was chatting to Logan and his co-host about the Tommy and Molly Mae Hague breakup that has made headlines in the UK, and the US in the last week. At first, Tyson mistook Molly’s name for a random dr*g and appeared confused.

However, Logan quickly tried to rectify the youngest heavyweight champion of the world by stating, “This is one of the most beloved couples in the world, especially in the UK. It’s a very sad moment for the internet and for love as a whole to see these two split ways.” Yet, ‘Iron’ Mike’s confusion didn’t completely fade – he went into another zone.

When Logan’s co-host probed Tyson about his thoughts on Mae and Fury’s break up, he said, “No one knows the pain of the heavyweight champion when he’s alone,” thinking Paul and his co-host were talking about Tyson Fury. So, Logan clarified they were talking about Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy Fury, prompting a confused Tyson to ask, “What’s Tommy doing?”

Logan revealed Tommy broke up with Molly, which seems to have confused Tyson even further, as he screamed, “Who the f**k is Molly?” This sent everyone in the room in a fit of laughter, as they all realized Mike had confused himself for Tyson Fury doing the dr*g Molly. Realizing what had happened, ‘Iron’ Mike acknowledged his mistake and stated, “I am in the dr*g phase in my life…”

All in all, it turned out to be a hilarious exchange. It’s worth noting that Tommy Fury and Molly Mae had a romantic relationship in 2019 and had just gotten engaged last summer after welcoming their daughter, Bambi, in January 2023. However, now the question is, why did they break up?
