Unified female featherweight champion Amanda Serrano has amazed boxing fans with her stellar winning streak over the past few years. Recently, Serrano revealed her thoughts on why she is not in a relationship.

Serrano is currently signed to Jake Paul‘s promotional company, ‘Most Valuable Promotions’. Moreover, she is the only female fighter signed to Paul’s promotional.

Serrano was in an interview with The Post. In conversation, she mentioned she has never owned a phone. She further said that she neither smokes nor drinks, and that she does not have any friends.

Serrano also added, “I don’t go on dates. I never had a boyfriend.”

Further, she also delved into the reason why she does not have a boyfriend. Serrano said, “I’ve seen fighters that have a boyfriend or they have a girlfriend and they’ll get into a fight with their partner, go to the gym and they won’t have the same performance.”

However, she added that she wished to give her all to the sport. She said, “If I’m going to put myself in the sport, I’m going to give it 100 percent. I’m going to sacrifice whatever is on the outside and distractions.

Meanwhile, Serrano’s way of life has won her the admiration of her promoter Paul. Paul was all praise for her dedication, even going as far as saying that she will be remembered forever.

What’s next for Amanda Serrano

Serrano will face the current undisputed lightweight champion Katie Taylor on April 30, 2022. The bout will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Taylor will be defending her WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO and the Ring female lightweight titles. The bout can be considered one of the most dramatic showdowns in female boxing history.
