The ‘Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury recently made an explosive comeback with a sensational fight against Derek Chisora. Fans have been pondering what the next big fight will be for Fury. Meanwhile, the boxing fraternity and fans have also been anticipating his long-awaited fight against Anthony Joshua. But it seems like this fight might never reach fruition. Fury’s wife, Paris Fury, recently opened up about why the fight might not be a good idea.

Fury faced Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on December 3, 2022. Moreover, he defended his WBC heavyweight title by defeating Chisora via 10th round-TKO.

iFL TV caught up with Paris Fury after her husband’s victory. In conversation, the reporter asked her if fans would be able to see him fight Joshua. Notably, the Fury vs. Joshua showdown has been a highly anticipated affair. In fact, it has even been dubbed, ‘the biggest fight in British boxing history.’

Fury responded by saying, “Personally no. I have always doubted it anyway. So I still don’t think it’ll come along because I think by the time the unification fight happens, people who are will and jumping to take the fight, take their fights.”

And with all the fighters willing to take up the fights, it looks like Joshua’s luck might not be as bright. Fury, on the other hand, did not mince words while saying that Joshua will be way down in the list of potential fights.

Paris Fury had spoken about Anthony Joshua before the fight

British boxing might be incomplete without the iconic Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury showdown. In fact, Paris Fury had spoken about the potential showdown prior to his Derek Chisora fight.

Paris Fury and SugarHill Steward were present at the presser for the Chisora vs Fury fight. In conversation, she spoke about Joshua attending the fight. She said, ” I don’t think he’ll be there. Have been keeping too scared. I think he’ll stay out of the way. Sorry I’ll be quite and polite. No, he may, I don’t think he’ll be here. But I would like to see that fight happen. Tyson’s wanted it.”

However, she was unsure if the fight was still credible.
