Will Floyd Mayweather Offer a Fight to Jake Paul?

Jake Paul has grown tremendously in the combat sports universe in the past year. Paul came into the limelight by calling out biggies like Conor McGregor and more after his win over Nate Robinson. Slowly and steadily, he also shifted his radar to boxing greats like Floyd Mayweather.

‘The Problem Child’ stayed assertive about fighting ‘TBE’ many times. In fact, Mayweather too seemed open to fighting the YouTuber. However, for the past few months, the undefeated boxing legend hasn’t quite opened up on facing the Ohio native on the professional front or on the exhibition basis.

The YouTuber turned boxer knows if he wants to get big in the fight space, he’ll have to square off with boxing legends. On top of this, Paul enjoys facing his opponents on the pro-boxing side rather than doing exhibition bouts.

Mayweather, after his last pro-boxing bout against ‘The Notorious’ in 2017, didn’t take up any other professional outing. Also, he truly seems uninterested in lacing up the gloves for a pro-fight.

That said, Mayweather keeps his eye on exhibitions, and after his fight with Logan Paul, he seems uninterested in doing the same. Citing that, it seems unlikely that ‘Pretty Boy’ will face Paul in the coming time.

Mayweather and Paul entered a brawl earlier this year at a press event. Both of them were face to face when the YouTuber tried to run after stealing Mayweather’s hat. ‘The Problem Child’ then asserted the famous ‘Gotcha Hat’ which later drew many eyeballs.

However, the boxing great and his team went after the young gun in this brawl, which led to a rift between them.

Post this incident, Mayweather and Jake Paul seem to see each other as bitter rivals. Fortunately, the two didn’t meet thereafter, else the fans might have witnessed an even bigger scuffle.
