One fan stated that it was disappointing to see this movie be based loosely on ‘Rock 5’, especially in terms of the time passed from the previous pictures. He also claimed that the director should have made a couple of movies before skipping so much time in the story.
Wow. Very sad to see that they went the Rocky 5 route when’re the kid ages 14 years in one. Ir sucks, but sometimes you have to just wind up doing more movies before you make your child a teen.

One fan doubled down on the pacing of the timeline. He stated that the original ‘Rocky’ movies did not skip so much time between their movies. He also questioned whether this was the reason Sylvester Stallone was left out of the movie.
So is that supposed to be your kid in this movie, if so… how much time passed? I mean the original Rocky films seemed to be somewhat close (not counting 5, even Sly said that sucked).
I'm just saying… is that why Rocky is out bc frankly… he's dead now? To much time passed?

The fans seemed to be somewhat displeased at the poster, mainly because of the change in the storyline. This combined with Stallone’s absence from the film has made fans question whether Jordan could pull out a worthy movie in his directorial debut.
However, Jordan does have the hype needed for this film to be a box-office success even without Stallone’s involvement. In addition, the fans will also get to find out if Jordan can replicate in his acting skills in directing.
