The duo’s contract ended recently, but they sent shock waves in the fight world by renewing their terms.

With this, Joshua will now be under Eddie Hearn‘s and Matchroom’s wings till he hangs up his gloves from the sport. This is by far the biggest success for Matchroom as Joshua is the biggest name in the heavyweight mix today, and having him extend his contract is a sure-shot treat.

Eddie Hearn also opened up on this success and he gave his honest notions.

Per Michael Benson, he said, “There is something quite special about sharing a journey from the debut to the day the gloves are hung up, but it takes a huge amount of belief and an unwavering loyalty. I am honoured AJ has confirmed his future with Matchroom.”
