Following the boxing, the slapping contest, and appearances from mega names of the entertainment world, ‘The Problem Child’ revealed just how successful the event was.

The undefeated Paul took to his Instagram to reveal the number of PPV sales and how much Triller made from the event. He posted a picture with the Triller Fight Club belt and covered it in $1 notes. The YouTube boxer captioned it, “1.5 million PPV buys… $75 million dollars generated.”

This showed that event was indeed a tremendous success. Triller has set out to change the way boxing events are organized, and the two events they have conducted have been a massive success. Thus, we may see more of the same model in the future.

Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren event draws extreme backlash

Despite the incredible success of the PPV in monetary terms, the event had its fair share of criticisms. Fans questioned several things that Triller did on the night, while there were also many slip-ups.

The commentary team attracted the most criticism from fans, who lashed out at ‘Golden Boy’ Oscar De La Hoya in particular and accused him of being intoxicated on the night. While many questioned the unconventional commentary by Snoop Dogg and the others.

In addition to this, other moments also drew backlash from viewers. Justin Bieber forgot he had another song and almost walked off early. Furthermore, the Regis Prograis vs. Ivan Redkach fight ended in a controversial decision, and fans criticized Redkach for faking a low-blow.
