The world knows Mike Tyson for his intimidating in-ring persona and his illustrious boxing run. Back in the retro boxing era, Tyson became a flamboyant face of the sport and he rose to super-stardom in no time. Moreover, he was a true annihilator who destroyed his opponents. But once ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ signed off from the sport, he transitioned into an altogether unique version.

Tyson, 54, wishes to inspire and positively impact millions of individuals with his sublime deeds. That said, he takes up many charitable programs to help contribute to an individual’s life.
Recently, ‘Iron’ Mike joined hands with a charity firm, which delivered 700 boxes of food to Brownsville housing developments. Tyson’s firm, Mike Tyson Cares, took this to its official social handles to share the news.

They wrote, “Brownsville Love. Inspired every day by the work brothers like Al Mathieu and his organization @brownsvillethinktank #BTTM does every day. In conjunction with GrowNYC they gave out 700 boxes of food to Brownsville Housing Developments. I was blessed to be of service. Inspiring and supporting our community goes both way.”
In November 2020, ‘Iron’ Mike even locked horns with veteran Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition boxing bout. Here, the duo fought for a social cause with Tyson’s fight purse going to charity.

After this fight, Tyson expressed his interest in taking up more such exhibition bouts for a good cause.
