Logan Paul, who is still searching for an opponent after his exhibition stint against Floyd Mayweather in June, seems to have eyed WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury. While his brother Jake Paul will take on Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy Fury in December, Logan Paul is willing to throw hands against ‘The Gypsy King’.

“Yes, sure, in an MMA match,” said Logan Paul when asked about battling the WBC champion.

This could benefit ‘The Maverick’ as he was a wrestler in high school. However, it can all be dismissed as banter.

In the past, Tyson Fury had expressed interest in entering the UFC octagon. He was spotted training with Darren Till in the UK. Months back, Fury also had a social media feud with UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.

All of these provide a lifeline to his chances of competing in the UFC or any other MMA league in the world. However, even if he does enter an MMA promotion, he may not get to fight Logan Paul.

Is Logan Paul serious about facing Tyson Fury?

After all the bold claims, Paul expressed his views on facing Tyson Fury in a chat with SecondsOut.

He said, “I gotta fight Tyson [Fury] huh, I will fight Tyson. I am gonna call him out in person, to his face.”

“He is what 90 pounds heavier than me, five inches no eight inches taller, and like undefeated and stuff and I haven’t won a single fight. So, it’s like you know. Statistically, it doesn’t look great.”

Well, Tyson Fury has several serious boxing bouts to look for. He is the WBC world champion and is at the top of the heavyweight division. Thus, Logan Paul is clearly nowhere near his combat radar. But a potential move to MMA can change things.
