Xander Zayas has nothing but respect for Jake Paul, but there’s one thing about him he doesn’t like. Zayas is a 19-year-old boxing prospect from Puerto Rico, where Jake Paul and his brother Logan Paul currently live.

Zayas appeared on the ‘Last Stand Podcast with Brian Custer’ to talk about his rise to fame, the prospect of the year award, and everything boxing. Custer asked Zayas what he thought about the YouTube boxers.

Zayas spoke about how things like this have their pros and cons and then spoke about Jake Paul. “At the end of the day, Jake Paul works hard. You know, he’s taking it serious and I respect that.”

Zayas then spoke about what he doesn’t like about ‘The Problem Child’. “The only thing I don’t like is when he start calling all this great boxers and telling them ‘Oh I’m number one boxer and I’m all of that’.”

“I think that’s disrespectful, that’s where it starts to get disrespectful because the same way they earned their name in the sport, you have to earn it you know.”

“Because they’re not going out here, going on YouTube, saying I’m the best YouTuber because it’s not what we do, you know what I’m saying?” Zayas said. The 19-year-old spoke really well during the interview, considering he learned English in just 4 months.

So let’s look at what Zayas was referring to regarding Jake Paul.

Jake Paul calls out Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal

Immediately after his fight against Tyron Woodley, Paul called out Jorge ‘Gamebred‘ Masvidal and Nate Diaz. Both Masvidal and Diaz were in attendance for the fight. Diaz was only there to support his friend Chris Avila, who was fighting on the undercard.

However, after he watched that fight, Diaz left the arena because he got ‘bored‘. Jorge Masvidal was there to watch the fight and probably scope out his next potential opponent in Jake Paul.

Masvidal and Diaz have been going back and forth with Paul on social media. So Paul called both of them out for leaving the arena early and also said that he would beat both of them.
