“Golden Boy” Oscar De La Hoya recently responded to Conor McGregor and Dana White in a series of Tweets.
@danawhite you are such a little bitch, never laced a glove other than being a box aerobics teacher. The Fertitta brothers are the ones who built the business and you were lucky enough to just have 10% of UFC. #littlebitch

In the Tweet regarding Dana, Oscar wrote:
“You are such a little b*tch! Never laced a glove other than being a box aerobics teacher. The Fertitta brothers are the ones who built the business. And you were lucky enough to just have 10% of UFC. #littlebitch”

A pretty heated response, indeed! But what made the veteran boxer get so angry at Dana? Apparently, Dana had something to say about Oscar’s call-out to The Notorious and the subsequent possibility of a match. Regarding Oscar’s claim of putting McGregor down in two rounds, Dana said in a scrum interview,
“Is fuc**ng Oscar De La Hoya beautiful or what?! And did he ask for a two-round fight?”
Very clearly, this comment did not sit very well with Oscar.
Oscar De La Hoya clarifies his stance on the Conor McGregor fight
Shifting his focus to Conor, Oscar clarified that he never called McGregor out. In a Tweet regarding the same, he wrote,
“For the record: McGregor, I never challenged you. I was just asked a question and I simply spoke the truth.”

The “truth” in question is a statement that Oscar recently made regarding just how long McGregor will last inside a boxing ring with him. But this is not the first time that Oscar has mentioned a fight with McGregor.

In fact, he also said back in 2017 that he sees himself making a comeback opposite McGregor. However, now that the Irishman did accept his offer to fight, it appears that De La Hoya just doesn’t want to.
What is your take on the scenario? Do you think Oscar should fight to justify his claim? Let us know in the comments section!
