‘You Big Fraud U Gave the Man 15 Days’: Tyson Fury Flaunting $11,000 Anthony Joshua Win Draws Ire From Fans

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury made headlines after he called out Anthony Joshua for a fight. However, the bout could never materialize as negotiations between the parties fell through. Fury will now face Dereck Chisora in three weeks before Christmas at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Despite not getting his desired fight, The Gypsy King pocketed over $11,000 for a bet he made with his promoter Frank Warren. The pair made a bet of £10,000 or $11,275 on whether the fight with AJ will go through. Warren was confident that the fight would go through, however to his dismay this would not happen following which he lost the money to Fury.

Moreover, the fans were also quick to react to Fury flaunting his winnings at the pre-fight press conference for his bout against Chisora.

One fan stated that Fury was too good of a boxer and understood why Joshua did not take up this fight.

Another fan claimed that although Fury vs Chisora 3 was disappointing, Joshua’s fans cannot say anything about the fight.

However, one fan claimed that flaunting money before a fight which won’t do very well on PPV was not a good look.

One fan even called Fury a fraud and stated that he only gave Joshua 15 days to sign the contract while doubling it for Chisora.

Moreover, another fan called out Fury for always changing the narrative. He stated that while Fury is a good boxer, the sport would have been better without him.

One fan was disgusted by Fury’s brash flaunting. He claimed that while people were struggling to feed their families, Fury was wasting money like he was playing Monopoly.An

 

Another fan hilariously stated that Warren has already given his PPV share to Fury with the $11,000.

Lastly, One fan added on the low predicted PPV numbers for the fight. He stated that Fury made more from this bet than he will from his PPV share.

The fans had a mixed reaction to Fury winning the bet. However, the majority still feel that he should not face Chisora for the third time, as it will certainly hinder his legacy. Despite this, Fury is determined to take on Del boy and will look to add another win to his record.
