Mike Tyson was the force of devastation in the 80s and early 90s that terrorized the heavyweight division. The beauty of his hands and aggressive style of boxing made him the most spectacular persona inside the ring. However, his life did not remain the same. Outside the ring, many setbacks emotionally stumbled the champion that changed the dimension of his further journey.

In an interview with Cris Cyborg, Mike Tyson, and the famous offensive tackle of American football, Eben Britton, get emotional. After listening to the miseries of ‘The Baddest man on Planet’, Britton’s eyes filled with tears and he poured his soul through words.

Former NFLer said, “You had to go through all of that so that you could change the world dude. You don’t realize how many lives you’re changing saving because of who you are and what you’ve been through and how you’re willing to speak about it now.”
Notably, the former heavyweight champion is no more active inside the ring. But his brutally honest attitude and acceptance made him the center of attraction.

He often took to interviews and podcasts to reflect his school of thought about the sport and dive deep into the issues that transformed him and inspire millions struggling out there.
The setbacks that changed Mike Tyson
Cus D’Amato, the renowned promoter, and the trainer had a deep impact on ‘Kid Dynamite’. He turned Mike’s life around by taking the latter under his wing and re-channelizing the champion’s energy into boxing. Under the guidance of Cus, ‘Iron’ Mike used the rage of the impoverishment and abuse to become the youngest heavyweight champion ever in the history of boxing.

But the sudden death of Cus came as a catastrophe in Mike’s life. ‘Kid Dynamite’ had just recovered from the passing of his mother, and another loss made him emotionally weak. Sooner he came into the influence of evil company and got distracted, which cut short the prime of ‘The Baddest Man on Planet’.
Later in 2009, the sudden death of his daughter Exodus from injuries gave him the deepest mark, and he never recovered from this wound again.

However, apart from this, ‘Iron’ Mike showcased a great warrior spirit and went down as one of the greatest heavyweight boxers in the sport’s history.
