Manny Pacquiao isn’t just a boxing superstar, but his political identity adds much more responsibility on his shoulders. He was elected as the Senator of the Philippines in 2016 and since then he has done a commendable job outside the ring.

The 41-year-old is currently inactive in the sport and looking forward to his political activeness. He might not accept a fight soon. However, he has been rumored to face Conor McGregor multiple times.

Despite that, Pacquiao has confirmed nothing from his side. Moreover, he continues to divulge in his political work as he recently posted a heartfelt message for the farmers on social media.

Coming off from poverty, Manny Pacquiao has seen global success through sheer hard work and dedication. Thus, he hasn’t forgotten his roots. In his political journey ahead, ‘Pac-Man’ vows to take care of the farmers, expressing his support and respect towards them.

The Filipino Senator has posted three pictures from his official Instagram handle. Pacquiao hailed the farmers as his heroes and delivered an emotional tribute to them.

In the caption, he wrote, “To all my Farmer heroes, Maraming Salamat po sa inyong matinding sakripisyo. You have been feeding our nation and you deserve to be treated with respect.

The boxing great has become the biggest sensation of the Philippines and one of the most popular global athletes with his unparalleled achievements. He has fought and won fights in four different decades, becoming the only eight-division champion in the sport.

That said, the Senator has all the chances of returning to the ring. If not for Conor McGregor, Pacquiao has other options in Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. Pacquiao teased a matchup against both the champions a few months ago. However, he hasn’t finalized anything. So, it is still too early to predict a matchup for him.
