Whyte spoke out following Povetkin’s victorious effort against David Price who happens to be associated with Whyte’s camp. Moreover, Dillian Whyte was more than confident in his abilities going into a scrap with ‘The White Lion’.

‘The Body Snatcher’ was quick to call out the 38 fight veteran in Povetkin following the latter’s brutal fifth-round KO victory. It appeared as though Whyte’s words ring true even two years after their preliminary run-in at the Principality Stadium.

“Listen, I just seen him in there, and he’s a good strong fighter. But I know what I need to do to beat him. You just need a good strong jab and you’ll beat Povetkin all day long. I’ll fight him next.”
