“You Need to Do Something Serious in You Life”: After Meeting His Celebrity Fan Sylvester Stallone, Vasyl Lomachenko Reveals Hard-Hitting Life Lesson He Taught to His Kids

Former unified and lineal lightweight titleholder, Vasyl Lomachenko, is currently gearing up for a lightweight showdown. He will face the undisputed champion, Devin Haney, for the division’s coveted titles. Meanwhile, a rare photo of Lomachenko with arguably the greatest reel-life boxer of all time, Rocky Balboa AKA Sylvester Stallone, recently started doing rounds. ‘The Matrix’, on the other hand, opened up about meeting the legend. He also delved into how it translated into a life lesson for his son.

Lomachenko was recently in an interview with ESNEWS. In conversation, the interviewer asked him about the time he met Stallone and further enquired if it was a surreal moment for him.

In response. Lomanchenko responded by reminiscing a conversation with his son. He mentioned, “You know, it’s like the same. My son asked me a couple of days ago, Saeed knows some famous football players. I said yes he knows. Oh, can you talk with Saeed? Can he speak with these guys? I want to take a picture. And I said hey, you need to do something special in your life.”

Moreover, he further added, “Then maybe these football players ask to make a picture with you. But, of course, I can ask. But, you need to do something serious in your life.” It sure looks like, as a father, Lomachenko wants his son to earn the opportunity to meet his favorite athletes.

Devin Haney has a message for Vasyl Lomachenko ahead of their fight

While the photograph has caught the attention of fans, Lomachenko is in the news for his upcoming fight against Devin Haney. And it looks like Haney has a message for Lomachenko and for the lightweight division.

He mentioned, “I have a few names on the list that I would love to fight. Make the big fight with. But at the end of the day, we’re signing them off. You know we checkmark each guy and it all starts with Lomachenko and then we’ll go from there.” There is no denying that boxing fans are in for a treat with this upcoming showdown in the lightweight division.
