It was recently announced that Jake Paul will face Tommy Fury for a highly anticipated showdown on August 6, 2022. Moreover, the announcement of his well-yearned bout has made Paul take up a predator-like persona, bating for blood. ‘The Problem Child’ recently invited a new host of problems after calling out Fury’s brother, Tyson Fury.

Fury was recently in an interview with iFL TV. In conversation, Fury mentioned that the English light heavyweight champion would batter Paul. Additionally, he also mentioned that he is backing his brother. In fact, he even went on to put USD 100,000 on Tommy Fury.

Fury’s statement caught Paul‘s attention. Moreover, he took to social media to call Fury out. Paul said, “So guys, Tyson Fury, who made 40 million dollars last year. Willing to bet 100k on his brother, oh my god, we’re shaking.”

He even urged Tyson to increase the bet amount. Paul said, “Hey Tyson, you f*cking p*ssy, you made 40 million dollars. I know it wasn’t as much as me. But, let’s up the ante, let’s bet a million on it, Tyson, two million, three million, however much you want to f*cking bet. Let’s do it. Are you down? Make a deal. See I can really tell when somebody’s not really confident.”

Further, Paul went on to say that he can tell when people are scared of him. Additionally, he even went on to address himself as a ‘cold m*therf*cker’ who is not scared of anyone.

Tyson Fury responds to Jake Paul

‘The Gypsy King’ is not an individual who would stay quiet when disrespected. Fury took to social media to respond to Paul’s statement.

Fury responded to Paul, saying, “Hey Jakey boy, I hear you wanna bet a bigger bet than a 100 thousand dollars. You want a bigger bet m*therf*cker? You want a million dollars? Let’s do it.”

He even went on to claim that he is not sure if Paul actually has a million dollars in his bank. Notably, Fury is worth a whopping USD 65 million.

The Paul vs Fury showdown

Paul was initially scheduled to fight Tommy Fury in December. However, Fury had to pull out of the fight due to a bacterial infection and a broken rib.

On June 10, 2022, Paul announced that Amanda Serrano and himself will be co-headlining the main event at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City. But their opponents were not finalized at that time.

Further, on June 23, 2022, after much back and forth, Fury took to social media to respond to Paul and finalize the bout on August 6.
