Former WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney has found himself in the middle of an online storm since leaked footage of his wife, Leena Sayed, and rapper, Young Thug, went viral on social media. Now, the 33-year-old rapper has publicly apologized to his singer and songwriter girlfriend Mariah The Scientist for the entire debacle.

You see, just the other day, a video was leaked on the internet from July 2022 where Sayed can be seen on a phone call with Thug during a visit to jail. The rapper was jailed in May 2022 on charges that he led the street gang Young Slime Life (YSL). The gang was accused of committing violent crimes, including murder, armed robbery, drug dealing, and carjacking.

Regardless, Sayed was visibly emotional and teary-eyed during the phone call, as she said, “I don’t like anyone. No one is like you. I don’t like them. I only want you.” Since the video was leaked, internet sleuths began speculating about the nature of their relationship. Soon afterward, Sayed hopped on her Instagram story to release a statement.

“That video was before I met my bd… I would never talk to Thug or any other man,” she wrote expressing her loyalty to Haney, who is the father of her child. Even Thug hopped on X to issue a statement on the leaked footage, suggesting there’s nothing going on between them. “Man me and twin was talking bout some whole other serious s**t,” Thug wrote.

“I don’t know y she spoke on loving other people or anything else cause ain giving no f**k bout no h***s or n***as,” he added. “I’m the capital P lol that’s my twin and nothing else. Now, Sayed has responded to Thug calling her a “twin,” claiming she is nobody’s “twin” while expressing her love for Devin Haney. “I’m Nobody’s twin I’m 100% down for my baby daddy with whatever he do and whoever else he f**k with and that’s why yall mad,” Sayed wrote on her Instagram story.

Meanwhile, Thug seems to have apologized to his current girlfriend Mariah The Scientist. “Sorry to my baby for all this bulls**t on the internet. I love u baby and f**k em all we know what’s up with us,” Thug wrote on X. That said, what does Devin Haney have to say about all this?

Since the entire ordeal unfolded, Haney’s wife and Thug have clearly released multiple statements on the matter, but what about their partners? The rapper’s girlfriend hasn’t shared a statement on the matter as of the time of writing. On the other hand, Haney has turned online but not to talk about his wife’s viral video.

Instead of addressing the situation at hand, Davis hopped on his Instagram story to share a picture of himself lying in bed, munching on an apple with a couple of expensive Louis Vuitton bags. It appears the former WBC super lightweight champion has remained unbothered with the entire matter even though the internet is abuzz with the controversy.

Unfortunately, Young Thug and Leena Sayed’s personal lives have spilled over into social media and they seem to have gone into damage control. Meanwhile, Devin Haney has become the unwitting victim of the drama. What did you think about this situation?
