In a conversation with rapper Cordae on his podcast, the boxing dynamo revealed, he paid $50, 000 each to keep three white tigers at his mansion as pets. This is the only small part of Tyson’s craziness. He not only tamed them but also build a good relationship with them as common people do with their pets like dogs and cats. What did Mike Tyson say about his tigers?

There is no doubt, the youngest heavyweight champion ever was a very proud owner of his pet tigers, and he spent a good amount of time with them. But at the end of the day, tigers are tigers. They are wild, and not suitable as pets. And Tyson experienced it himself.

He said, “Now listen, when you make them (tiger) haha aww! (roar), Ni**, your heart falls to your sneakers. Awwww N**, so listen this is how it goes right like if I go to the house right and if they’re not running to the f***ing gate to see me. I don’t go in there. And when they come running in, ‘st’ ni*ga’. And when they just sit, they’re looking at you like this (then the impression of a tiger’s gesture). ‘I don’t go there’.”

Later, when tigers went mad due to age-related and several other reasons, Tyson had to get rid of them because the tigers got involved in several incidents in his neighborhood.
