Ex-Bellator fighter and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace Dillon Danis will settle his beef with YouTube sensation KSI on January 14 inside the squared circle. The bout is set to take place at the Misfits X DAZN 4 boxing event at the OVO arena in Wembley.

Despite being inactive from combat sports since 2019, El Jefe has competed in one of MMA’s premier promotions and also trained former UFC lightweight champion, Conor McGregor. However, Danis’ career has seen a downfall due to the regular controversies he manages to get himself into. Now, Danis will be looking to put himself back on the map following this bout but it might not be looking too great for El Jefe after he posted a training video.

In the video, Danis can be seen training in BJJ despite having a boxing match right around the corner. Moreover, he even used the video to mock KSI as he tried to suggest that he could beat the British YouTuber without actually training in boxing. “Great training today for my upcoming bout with @KSI” he wrote

However, the fans were quick to call out Danis’ blatant attempt at trolling, which he has gained a reputation for as they reacted to this video

Moreover, one fan even took shots at ‘El Jefe’ as he criticized his takedown claiming that Danis’ opponent was much smaller than him.

One fan even trolled Danis praising his jab and boxing training, which he was certainly not doing.

Another fan predicted what will happen if Danis lost the fight. He stated that Danis would make excuses after getting knocked out by KSI in the match.

Lastly, one fan stated that he was fighting KSI and not UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.

The fans were having none of Danis’ antics before the fight.

Moreover, as KSI seems to step up his level after every fight, and Danis not competing for almost 4 years, this bout could be very one-sided if the latter keeps training like this.
