Top Rank’s Bob Arum has given one last prediction for the Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev fight. The two heavyweights will battle it out for all of Joshua’s belts in an exciting contest. Both Joshua and Pulev have made their predictions for the fight on multiple occasions; as usual, Bob Arum has been very vocal about it too. On multiple occasions, he has said that his fighter will win.

It seems as though Arum has given his final words on how he thinks the fight will go. Speaking to iFL TV on YouTube, Arum said, “Well, I really think that Joshua does an ‘Andy Ruiz’. The re-match. Runs around, my guy will corner him and pummel him. If Joshua fights Pulev, I like my guy’s chances. I think… Joshua’s chin is suspect, I think Pulev knocks him out.”

Clearly, Arum doesn’t rate Joshua’s ability to fight it out in a slug-fest with the Bulgarian. Despite Joshua saying he is going to do exactly that, Arum is not buying it. He then ended in typical ‘Bob Arum’ fashion by saying, “Watch that Joshua-Pulev fight. You’re going to be amazed how Pulev takes him apart.”

Is Bob Arum right in what he says?

As Arum rightly said, ‘AJ’ is coming into this fight with a slightly subdued performance over Andy Ruiz Jr where he had to box to a game-plan for 12-rounds. However, the only way he can make a statement to the division is if he can get the knockout victory. And both he and his promoter Eddie Hearn have said it’s going to be a knockout.

Even at the last interview before the fight, Joshua has promised to knock him out. As for Arum’s comments on Joshua’s fighting ability, those comments are a bit biased. When you look at his fights against Dillian Whyte and Wladimir Klitschko, you can clearly see ‘AJ’ coming out on top in a slugfest. So even if that is the approach, it is safe to say Anthony Joshua has the arsenal to take down Kubrat Pulev.

Will Arum have to eat his words on December 12?
