The 23-year-old Daniel Dubois is already a global sensation and is often compared to the likes of Mike Tyson, for being an elite knockout specialist at such an early age.

Relishing an unbeaten professional career, Dubois is set to meet his upcoming adversary in Joe Joyce on November 28th.

While Joyce also has an alarming unbeaten resume, many believe that Dubois will be the one to keep his clean record. ‘Dynamite’ is one of the many Britishers to have embraced the sport grandly, and a former prodigy has recently hailed him as “one of the top” from the country to do so.

Ahead of the high-voltage heavyweight showdown, which also clashes with the Tyson vs Jones PPV, Frank Bruno talked of Daniel Dubois rather highly.

‘The True Brit’ connected with BTSport to hail and advise Dubois. Bruno claims that the 23-year-old can continue to be on the top if he can avoid getting diverted from his goal.

He said, “I think you go all the way. He (Dubois) has been one of the top people what Britain has produced. As long as he says level-headed, don’t get involved with the mix-up.

“Mix up of people trying to drive away from his plan, his journey on the road that he is on.”

Daniel Dubois, up and coming in the heavyweight roster

Over the course of his rise to glory, Dubois has knocked out 14 of his 15 opponents and will now fight for the European and British heavyweight strap against Joyce.

Apart from being a big puncher, he is also technically sound, which has always been trouble for his opponents. So, Bruno finds him extremely ‘poetic’.

Frank Bruno added, “I am telling you, the vibes are there, the punching power is there. But he is not developed yet. He has got about five more years before he actually developed.

“And he would be like a George Foreman combination with the style that he has got. He has got a good jab, a god right hand. He goes to the body. Good left hooks to the body.

“He is beautiful to watch, poetry to watch. It was a pleasure meeting him because he is a very, very lovely soul. He has got his feet on the ground because of a good family.”
