Jake Paul has apparently made several foes since entering the combat sphere, especially after taking shots at the kingpins of the sport. That didn’t stop him from leaping towards bigger objectives. However, Paul’s bold claims about being a boxer don’t sit well with everyone, as he hasn’t faced a single pro-pugilist so far.

Although many pro-boxers have challenged him, ‘The Problem Chid’ has reacted to only a few of them, leaving the IBF cruiserweight champion, Mairis Briedis, out of his sight. Briedis, however, has constantly vowed to outwork ‘The Problem Child’, if put inside the ring against him. That said, he recently took a dig at Paul, in which we could spot a pet cat thrash Jake Paul’s profile.

Briedis shot it and posted it over social media. Well, the post was dedicated to his fans after the IBF champion finished with 1 million followers on his Instagram profile. The numbers are still less than Jake Paul’s 18.8 million followings. However, Briedis didn’t hesitate to troll ‘The Problem Child’ and brought in his pet cat into the mix.

This wasn’t the first time Briedis had hit on Jake Paul. The cruiserweight champion entered into the scene from nowhere and came in as a surprise back up to Dana White after Jake Paul released his diss track on UFC stars. Mairis Briedis released his own track, dissing Paul and his girlfriend Julia Rose.

He even offered to put his world titles on the line against Jake Paul, who is also a cruiserweight contender. Nevertheless, Paul ignored him completely. The 25-year-old is yet to deliver an opinion on the whole thing.

Jake Paul may have bigger plans on his mind

Briedis can clearly offer him the world titles, but the champion isn’t really a prizefighter who can generate massive PPV sales. Besides, Paul is doing something really great for the sport outside the squared circle. As the CEO of MVP Promotions, he has secured a fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano in co-promotion with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom. So, it seems Paul will take time to enter the squared circle.

He has also teased a potential move to the MMA world, calling out Khabib Nurmagomedov on his debut. Therefore, it’s hard to imagine Paul entertaining Mairis Briedis, especially when he has so many options beforehand.
