Undisputed super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez is back again to call out Argentinean soccer star Lionel Messi. Alvarez previously accused the latter of disrespecting the Mexican national flag as footage emerged of Messi allegedly moving a Mexican jersey with his foot.
This was after Argentina secured a 2-0 victory over Mexico in the 2022 FIFA world cup. The locker room celebration was reflective of the nation’s morale boost as they still have a chance to progress. However, Alvarez was having none of this as he took to Twitter and expressed his anger at the locker room celebration. ”

“Did you guys see Messi cleaning the floor with our jersey and flag? He better pray to God that I don’t find him. Just like I respect Argentina, he has to respect Mexico! I’m not talking about the country as a whole, just about the bulls**t that Messi did.” Alvarez wrote on his Twitter.

Now the Mexican has shared another photo by a fake Messi user account. In the photo, the Mexican jersey can be seen being used as a mop with the caption “Messi es mas grande que Mexico” which means “Messi is bigger than Mexico”.
Despite coming from a fake account ‘Saul’ did not hold back on his reply calling the user a ‘hdp,’ a Spanish anagram of ‘hijo de puta‘, which translates to ‘son of a b**ch‘.

“Mr. Canelo, don’t look for excuses or problems, surely you don’t know about soccer and what happens in a locker room. The shirts are always on the floor after the games are over due to sweat and then if you see well, he makes the movement to remove the boot and accidentally hits it.” he wrote in Spanish.
