“I Don’t Want to Get In the Ring With This GOAT”: Mike Tyson After Teaching Serena Williams How to Box

Mike Tyson, often regarded as ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’, has dominated the boxing world as no other boxer has done before. Tyson is still regarded as one of the most ruthless boxers that the world has ever seen. Even his walk used to send shivers down the opponent’s spine. But there’s one athlete that Tyson fears getting in the ring with. 

The one person that Tyson fears is none other than tennis superstar Serena Williams. The video shows Williams punching the bag with incredible power. Even the boxer was amazed at what Williams was doing. Following this, ‘Iron Mike’ took to Twitter and uploaded the video. He wrote, “Wouldn’t want to get in the ring with this GOAT @serenawilliams.”

The two elite athletes reportedly crossed paths in 2019 at the Florida “Mouratoglou Preseason.” Patrick Mouratoglou, Williams’ coach, hosts a camp every year that attracts athletes and famous people.

Mike Tyson spills some beans on his thoughts on becoming a coach 

Williams’ boxing workout with Tyson was just spectacular. The 55-year-old has a very long history in the sport. He used to be a knockout artist, but now he serves as a spiritual mentor who teaches you how to regulate your emotions and navigate life. By offering intense physical and mental training, “Iron Mike” could excel as a coach.

While talking to Hollywood actress Rosie Perez on his podcast Hotboxin with Mike Tyson, the boxer revealed his thoughts about becoming a coach. He said, “I don’t have that kind of patience. I’m not gonna wake up every morning for this guy, to make sure he is running and doing this exercise and all that stuff.”

He further added, ”I took all the punches so my children didn’t have to take the punches. I don’t have time. I have other business things to do. I don’t have time to be in the gym every day and all day.”
