Amid Canelo Fight News, Oscar de la Hoya Makes an Offer to Nate Diaz While Taking a Cheeky Dig at ‘Fake Promoters’ Like Eddie Hearn

When Nate Diaz fought his last fight against UFC veteran Tony Ferguson in UFC per contract in September Last year the combat pundits had a big question ahead. They were speculating what’s next for the most savage star in the MMA world. To date, the question remains. Diaz is a free agent and often makes storylines regarding his return to a boxing ring. But the opponents he is speculated to go head-to-head with are Jake Paul, KSI, and other YouTube boxers, but no one noteworthy. This was the story till now, but Matchroom Boxing’s boss Eddie Hearn’s recent revelation has added a new chapter to it.

In an interview with MMA Hour, the British promoter claimed that he is going to feature the most mismatched fighters on the stage. According to the promoter of the decade, the boxing world could see the walking legend, Diaz locking horns with the undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez. Moreover, he had another interesting story. Following this shocking announcement, he added that he will bring the former UFC heavyweight champion and now free agent, Francis Ngannou against the former unified heavyweight champion in boxing, Anthony Joshua.

Though he has not confirmed it, he clarified he is going to work on it. Helwani, the host of the MMA Hour, shared it on Twitter and wrote, “Oh, what a Dream! Nate Diaz vs Canelo Alvarez, Francis Ngannou vs Anthony Joshua.”

Following the circulation of this big storyline, The CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar De La Hoya, took an active part.

What did Oscar De La Hoya add to the Canelo Alvarez and Nate Diaz storyline?

The former promoter of Canelo took to the social media platform and made a big offer to Nate Diaz. Along with that, he targeted Hearn, dubbing him a fake promoter.

“@NateDiaz209 bro if your free let me take care of your future negotiations so all these fake promoters who never put a glove on in their life take advantage of you”, De La Hoya wrote.
